We know it’s late but wanted to thank all 180 people that attended our 25th annual Oyster Feast. With the help of our sponsors – Lightning Rod Bunty, Crothers Insurance Agency, Jim Roney, Excel Business Systems, Hill Travel Agency, Celestial Print & Design, Body by Steph, and The Louise Costello Team of Long & Foster – we raised $4,500! And we want to be sure to thank our master of ceremonies, Lowell Sheets The Magic Bartender, for the humorous and entertaining afternoon. Lastly, we thank the Wellwood for the flawless service and wonderfully delicious buffet. We look forward to seeing you at our 26th annual Oyster Feast and Buffet in 2017!
…is our 25th Annual Oyster and Seafood Buffet! According to accuweather.com it’s going to be a beautiful day (for the middle of winter anyway) for eating raw oysters and Wellwood’s famous fried chicken. We still have seats available so feel free to bring an extra friend (or two) and come down to the Wellwood this Sunday at 1pm and eat all you can while enjoying some live entertainment. We’ll have a 50/50 raffle, a couple of gift baskets to bid on and a cash bar! If you hadn’t already purchased tickets, you can click here: http://www.northeastrotaryclub.org/calendar/oyster-feast-and-buffet-2016 or you can purchase them at the door with cash, check or any major credit card. A portion of your ticket sale ($20) goes to your local Rotary Club of North East and the wonderful community service projects we do!
Several Rotarians from our Club came out this past Saturday morning and pulled weeds, decorated the tree, and fluffed the pillows for Santa’s first visit after Thanksgiving on Friday the 27th at 6pm. On Sunday, our friends at Christmas Decor came out and installed the lights and exterior decorations.
We have just nine days till our fourth annual Rotary Soup Cook Off where you get to taste over ten different soups and then vote for the best one!
